Portugal has become the ” It ” country for traveling! The capital city, Lisbon is full of the honor of maritime history. It is fun to look around and walk on the little lanes on the hills 🙂 Oh! Don’t forget to get the Pastéis de Nata and listen to Fado music!
Speaking of Singapore, those glorious memories of my childhood did ring a bell! Once again, I finally had another chance to visit the titan of Asia. This time, I accompanied my brother-cousin, who was just like my son, to visit this wonderful place!
Most of the time I travel alone, so of course, it is time to travel with family or friends and get a sweet balance! The seven-day trip to Singapore is an exploration of the world for my young cousin who just turned 18.
We stayed at the most popular hotel – Marina Bay Sands for six nights. While entering the room,
Our glorious accomplishments will stay with us eternally.
Oh, Singapore! I could always recollect the touching moments and thrilling excitements!!!
At the age of eight, I participated in the Sino-Japanese Junior Composition Competition held by YAMAHA. I was lucky enough to be in the finals and had several concert tours in Taiwan. What’s more, fortunately, I was selected as the representative of Taiwan and headed to Singapore to participate in the first Asian Oceanic Junior Original Concert, performing our own originals with representatives of the other six countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, and Australia. We were all ranging from seven to sixteen years old.
Bars in rain
Dublin, the capital of Ireland, emits a peculiar atmosphere. It is the merge of industrial decadence and rustic gloom. The weather in Dublin is just like London, where it rains all the time.
Speaking of Ireland, the most famous music figure is definitely U2! They were middle school classmates and used to hang together. Out of the blue, they have become world famous rock stars!! On my way from the airport to the hotel, we passed by the school where they went to, and the taxi driver even helped me get some photos.
There are a lot of bars in Dublin,
Old Port City — What a bummer!
After traveling so many places in the world, I have never felt so uncomfortable with any European city, and Marseille…would sadly be the first one…
Having spent a luxurious birthday and Christmas in Monaco, the next stop I planned to go was Marseille. Before departure, the concierge told me to be very careful since the place was quite disordered, and especially, I was traveling alone. Therefore, I dare not to take the train after hearing such comments about Marseille. I immediately booked a private driver. Soon we had arrived at Marseille.
Birthday in Monaco!
The day before my birthday, I took a ride from Nice to this luxury country, a place where the rich were gathered, Monaco. No special arrangement for the trip, and no ahead planning, I just want to see what kind of surprises will be given to me. Stayed in the Monte Carlo, Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel, I felt like immersing in the paradise of modern art. Paintings hung on the walls of the lobby, the sense of magnificence was within the air. Once had my bags settled, I asked the concierge for the information of local tours.
Bonjour! The beauty of French Riviera!
Last December, in order to escape from a rather chilly winter, I decided to go to the South of France while the eastern part of North America was all covered in snowy white.
Once landed in Nice, the weather welcomed me with a cool breeze, and the temperature was about 10 degrees.
The hotel I stayed was at downtown, and the “Place Massena”, a square where the famous Apollo Statue resides, was only a corner away.
Normally, when I visit a country, I would prefer in-depth travel because I want to explore and experience every detail of the city.
