Finding The Inspiration Of Rebirth In The Beautiful City Of Dresden

Solo traveling is like life training. Just like life, traveling is exhausting but it can also full of surprise encounters that shape you into the incredible being that you are!

After exploring the beautiful Leipzig, Germany for a few weeks, I followed my intuition yet again. For some spiritual reason I will never fully know, it led me to the beautiful city of Dresden. As soon as I arrived, I noticed my stay was on a giant hill. As I reached the top, I came upon a quaint and cozy Airbnb with an idyllic view. Right away it relaxed me. Even better, I had the entire floor to myself equipped with a spacious bedroom, a living room with a kitchen and bathroom. Needless to say, it was a blissful stay having the place to myself.

The next day I went out to explore the city. Although small, the city holds so much history. After the bombing of WWII, everything was destroyed. So the people of the city decided to re-build the city exactly how it once was. The resembalance of the original Dresden is impeccable! They manage to re-build all of it’s glory and beauty, and the views are stunning!

I visited Dresden Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), Semperoper Dresden, Zwinger Palace, and walked along the Elbe River. Even though the streets are filled with tourists, the city is surprisingly tidy and in order.

Of my sightseeing, the Procession of Princess was my favorite work of art. My heart trembled at the great sense of esthetics and techniques used from this ancient time, hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Incredible talent! I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate and respect all the heritage and ancestry contribution Dresden had to offer.

My takeaway from the city is that everything is “re-birthable” as long as you believe in it and you truly want it. It is your choice to upgrade and degenerate your life.

Song: Familiar Things Disappear

Composer: Hauschka

Description: Contemporary German musicians are very experimental. They are creative and willing to do things in every possible way. Hauschka is very versatile himself. He wants to expand the possibilities of sound  by inserting different things into it in order to get possible different sounds from the piano. The outcome is ethereal, crystal-like and sounds like something from space. Germans no longer have the stereotype of being strict or war-related. They've "re-birthed" to be creative, innovative and ahead-of-time thinkers!
