World Tour Concert Of The New EP In Taipei City

Trust the timing of your life! Even if it doesn't seem like it at the time, the world is working in your favor!

New EP: The Journey On Earth, Vol. 2: Stories of Time

Vol:1 Unknown and Vol: 2 Stories of Time from my original musical series, The Journey on Earth, tell a story we are all too familiar with; that life is a journey and we are all living in a timeframe. I created these 4 Mandarin songs in Vol.2 during my twenties when I was living in Montreal, Canada. I then I arranged them after moving to New York City when I was 30 years old, and later went to Berlin for the post production process. During release date of Vol.1 in 2014, I was in the middle of moving from New York City to Milan, so I wasn’t able to showcase them to the world at that time. So, I have been waiting for Vol. 2 getting ready to release, then perform them all together!!

None of this hectic scheduling was planned, but I do believe the world was timing my life in my favor and it all had a significant meaning to my career. As a result, I am now currently showcasing my beloved pieces through a World Tour!

I have started my World Tour in my home country of Taiwan! It had been a while since I performed in Taipei, Taiwan, but regardless of my many travels, it is still the place that I feel most connected with. I lived in Taichung City up until I was 18. However, after becoming an adult, Taipei was the city where I grew up to be the strong, independent woman that I am, and the place that taught me how to pave my own path. Needless to say, having my new EP release concert in Taiwan is very important and means a lot to me.

Additionally, I am very grateful to have two  great musicians as my right hand men to make this EP release so smoothly, Vincent Hsu on bass and Andrew Sali on drums! What is most important for me is having my closest friends and see me perform my masterpieces! How memorable!

Take this exciting journey with me as I travel around the world and discover how my songs reflect the journey of life!

Song: The Chaos Of The Snow

I wrote this song during winter time in Montreal. It was snowing like blizzard everyday. I was under lots of pressure from the school mixed with homesick. So, the messy snow scene reflected my complicated emotion. The snow gave me the inspiration writing this song! Moreover, I am honored to announce that this song is selected in the summer compilation of a Jazz Magazine "Jazz iz" !! I am thrilled that I broke the language and style barrier and make it into the American Jazz Scene!!
